DUM DUM Bernabéu: The rhythm of a design that grows.
Cada proyecto es un viaje para reflejar la esencia de quienes lo habitan. DUM DUM nació como la apuesta valiente de dos hermanos por reinventar la experiencia del dumpling. Tras el éxito de su primer local, este nuevo espacio en la calle Infanta Mercedes ,nuestro «hermano mayor», ha sido el escenario perfecto para demostrar que se puede crecer manteniendo una energía compacta y divertida.
To shape this project, we started by stripping the space back, removing layers until we found its original structure. That connection with raw construction is where our idea was born:
"Strip the space bare to find its own rhythm."
Our goal was to bring out elements like the original brickwork on the walls and the concrete pillars and beams, leaving them exposed to create an honest skin that plays off the stainless steel and matte mosaic tile.
For us, the name "DUM DUM" isn't just a brand — it's a design pattern. That playful character shows up in doubled elements that set the visual rhythm: round wall lights and LED strips in pairs, custom-made table legs, mirrors on the walls.
In this new chapter, the brand shows up more subtly. The corporate red appears in isolated details, which let us work with complementary colours so the identity stands out through contrast rather than saturating the space.
We placed special emphasis on human architecture. For the first time, the owners — and we ourselves — became part of the visual narrative. Because what this project in the Bernabéu area ultimately delivers is a place designed for people.
A space where design, rhythm and fun meet, honestly.
